It’s been less than a year since the release of Darksiders III, and it’s about to be available on PlayStation Plus as one of the two complimentary games for September.
Darksiders III is clearly the flagship choice from this duo, as it’s a fairly recent release with “mostly positive” reviews on Steam despite criticism from some fans of the series as well. The PlayStation 4 version currently retails for $79.99 on PlayStation Store in Canada. It’s the third entry in the hack-and-slash series, and the first to be published by THQ Nordic.
Batman: Arkham Knight, on the other hand, is more of an “essential-style” title, where many PlayStation 4 owners have already played it. It’s a gorgeous game with a great story and tight controls, but some have criticized the game’s over-reliance on the Batmobile. The game was re-released in the PlayStation Hits line recently, at a value of $20-$30 depending on location.
According to PlayStation’s official release, the games will be available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers starting on the 3rd of September.
